Guardians on the Stairs
Welcome to the secret underground palace of Queen Nefertari. Right ahead, a winged goddess spreads her feathers above the doorway while a sleek black jackal guards the wall. Your first treasure is a shiny scarab beetle that slipped away up the wooden steps behind you.
Cobra at the Crossroads
At the bottom of the stairs, another black jackal and a goddess with a tall feather crown watch over the passage. Nearby, a painted cobra rears up beside a doorway leading into a hall of colorful columns. Search toward those columns to spot a golden key of life waiting near the walkway.
Queen in White Linen
Here stands Queen Nefertari herself, dressed in a flowing white gown and a tall twin-plumed crown as she raises both hands. Above her head, hundreds of five-pointed yellow stars twinkle across a deep blue ceiling. A curious little royal cat statue is hiding in the room behind your back.
Chamber of Sacred Bulls
Tucked into this side room, a bold dark bull with curved horns stands painted along the limestone wall. The ancient builders carved wide rock benches around these side chambers to hold royal offerings for the queen's journey. Look around the sandy ledges behind you to uncover a glowing sunburst amulet.
Striped Pillar of Strength
Look at the bright red, blue, and gold horizontal bars painted down the side of this thick stone column. That tall striped shape is called a Djed pillar, an ancient badge of strength and steadiness that holds up the starry roof. Somewhere on the stone benches behind you rests a golden goblet fit for a royal feast.
Torchlight in the Pillared Hall
Click on your explorer flashlight as you step into the sunken heart of the great burial chamber. Three mysterious animal-headed guardians line the far wall while green-faced Osiris watches from the pillars. Sweep your beam behind the pillars to track down a hidden wooden treasure chest.
Shrine of Tiny Mummies
The lights are back on in this cozy back shrine, where three seated gods greet four tiny mummy figures perched on a table. Those four little guardians were meant to protect the queen's most precious belongings forever. One final prize awaits: find the gleaming golden royal mask hidden across the room behind you.
Bravo, royal explorer! You found all seven treasures hidden across Queen Nefertari's starry tomb, Built over three thousand years ago by Pharaoh Ramesses the Second, these painted halls are still some of the brightest masterpieces from ancient Egypt.
